INEC TOP OFFICIALS STORM MWUN SECRETARIAT OVER MOVEMENT OF ELECTION MATERIALS ACROSS LITTORAL STATES
Top officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Friday, stormed the national secretariat of the Maritme Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN)in Apapa, Lagos, for an interactive session ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The INEC delegates were led by Prof. Enyinla, Bolade Michael (Technical Advisor to INEC Chairman).
Others that accompanied the professor was Mrs Oguntuase Ebidapo Electoral Officer, Apapa. and Mr Felix Daramola, HOD Election Operation, Lagos.
INEC, MWUN reaffirmed strong commitment for a successful election, even as the Union’s President General, Comrade Adewale Adeyanju reiterated that the distributions of the commission ‘s essential electoral materials will be adequately circulated to the fifteen accredited states surrounded by water.
During the interactive session, Com Adeyanju assured that the MWUN will work round the clock for achieving a successful 2023 general elections.
