MWUN INAUGURATES BARGE & BONDED TERMINAL DISTRICT

The Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN) under the leadership of the President -General, Comrade (Prince) Dr. Adeyanju Adewale, fnli, HFCPSP, FCAI, on Monday, the 22nd of July, 2023 inaugurated the Barge & Bonded Terminal District of the Dockworkers Branch of the Union at the National Secretariat, 119, Osho Drive, Olodi – Apapa, Lagos.

The newly newly elected executives of the District rose from their various designations from the Unit before becoming District Executives as elected, given their outstanding performance and sincerity to duty calls, hardwork and determination toward projecting and upholding the good image of the Union as enshrined in the constitution.

Dr. Adeyanju with his team of national executives and other officials of the Union charged the newly executives to continue their good work and continue to be good ambassadors of the Union at all times, stressing that it’s whom much is given, that much is expected.

The leadership of the new District has Comrade Tunde Oyetunji as Chairman, Comrade Kingsley Iliaro as Secretary, while Comrade Stella Abiara is the District Treasurer amongst other executives elected into various designation to paddle the leadership of the District for the next four years. The District officers also reciprocated same, given the PG’s admonition while delivering their acceptance speech during the ceremony.
